The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out a series of new retaliatory operations in response to the continued Saudi war and blockade against the Yemeni people.
In a statement on Friday afternoon, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e confirmed the launch of a military offensive dubbed Operation First Breaking of the Siege, targeting an Aramco refinery in the Saudi capital of Riyadh with nine drone aircrafts, including three Sammad-3 type drones.
Moreover, the operation targeted Aramco facilities in Jizan and Abha, and other sensitive sites with six Sammad-1 type drones, the spokesman added.
Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e confirmed that this operation came “in response to the unjust blockade against our people and the banning of entry to oil derivatives.”
He concluded his statement by saying that “the Yemeni Armed Forces are capable, with Allah’s support, of assuming their responsibilities towards their people and country at this critical stage, and until the end of the aggression and lifting of the siege”.
