Gunmen in Aden attacked the house of a high-ranking security official.
This coincides with a state of security chaos including assassinations among the security factions there.
The director of Khormaksar police security, Major Jalal Al-Subaihi, said that gunmen affiliated with the former director of political security, Hussein Abs, opened fire on his house in the district in order to force him to release his son, who was detained for throwing grenades in the district.
The operation comes in light of an unprecedented chaos in the city, which emerged with the spread of dead bodies, amid accusations of security factions of standing behind it, and calls for the return of officials in Hadi government, such as the former Minister of Interior Ahmed Al-Maisari.
