Ministry of Interior Maintained Security Stability for Seven Years of US-Saudi Aggression

The Ministry of Interior revealed, in a press briefing of the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Abdul-Khaleq Alejri, the achievements of seven years in the face of the US-Saudi aggression.

Brigadier Alejri said that the ministry maintained security and stability in all free governorates and thwarted the enemy’s crimes and terrorist tools. He revealed that 373 buildings belonging to the ministry were bombed and destroyed, and the ministry lost nearly 650 billion riyals due to the US-Saudi aggression.

He stated that the security achievements amounted to 200 thousand and 353 security achievements, and that the security services thwarted 347 sabotage terrorist plots that the aggression moved its agents and criminal cells to implement in the free governorates.

Brigadier Alejri pointed out that 2,700 explosive devices planted by the criminal elements of the US-Saudi aggression were dismantled to target the security of the homeland and the lives of citizens, pointing that the ministry was able to seize 148,770 different criminal offenses, with a seizure rate of 94%.

He added that the security services carried out 16,036 seizures and recovered stolen items, which were handed over to their owners, and that the security men managed to seize 565 crime cells, and 11,396 seizures of drug smuggling and promotion crimes.

Brigadier Alejri pointed out that the ministry carried out more than 11,914 missions to secure official and popular events, received 31,16 complaints, of which 29,358 complaints were completed, released 2,552 people in 2,552 complaints through the Complaints and Reports Center, compensated more than 471 people, most notably restoring lands, homes and cars.

Alejri stated that 10,034 complaints were referred to judicial authorities and 1,132 complaints to other government agencies, and legal measures were taken in 2,585 complaints against violators from employees of the ministry.

Brigadier General Alejri concluded his press briefing by saying that the Ministry of Interior will spare no effort in achieving security and stability, preserving citizens’ property and thwarting the enemy’s plans.
