The Supreme Political Council (SPC) saluted on Monday the people wide interaction and honorable participation in the marches that taken place in the capital Sana’a and a number of provinces.
The demonstrations were held under the slogan “The blockade of oil derivatives is an American decision, and our choice is Yemen hurricane.”
The SPC affirmed the continuation and adherence to the option of the Yemeni people in confronting the aggression and the tyrants.
It said the free and honorable Yemeni people inaugurate today the eighth year of steadfastness with more determination and awareness to face all the enemy’s conspiracies.
The SPC renewed its emphasis on continuing to strengthen and develop all building factors to confront the aggression and advance Yemen as well as facilitate decent livelihoods for the people of the country.
It pointed out that the current stage imposes on everyon to seriously stand in front of the options that the enemy is trying to impose by using the dirtiest tools of starvation, intimidation and pressures that affect the citizens’ lives.
It stressed that the Yemeni leadership and people will take the necessary measures to be enable to deter the aggressor and stop its oppression.
