The international reports described the Russian operation as an invasion, aggression and occupation, but in Yemen and Palestine they changed the terminology and turned the occupation and the aggression into a conflict, the Ministry of Human Rights confirmed on Wednesday.
During a symposium held by the Ministry of Human Rights entitled (Collusion and duplication in international reports, Yemen – Palestine – Ukraine as a model), Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Habtoor explained that the Western system represented by France, Britain and the US was the one who designed the United Nations after the second war in its favor, and one of its fruits was the existence of the Zionist entity.”
“In the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, everything turned upside down and was dealt with differently from what is happening in Yemen, Palestine and other countries,” Bin Habtoor added.
For his part, the Acting Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami, said that this symposium is trying to restore the compass to its normal position after the fallacies used by the UN bodies in some terms.
Al-Dailami explained that some mechanisms were used in the Security Council a few days after the Russian-Ukrainian war, and this is the first time that it occurred in the corridors of international organizations.
“Various weapons were provided to the Ukrainians from various European countries and at the same time the Palestinian people and other attacked peoples were abandoned,” he added.
He pointed out that there is manipulation of values and principles in order to provide cover for violators of human rights crimes and for those who commit war crimes.
The Ministry of Human Rights confirmed that the Ukrainian crisis exposed the falsity of international reports and blatantly exposed their credibility. “The duplicity and racism became clear through their dealings with what is happening in Yemen and Palestine.”
“The Ukraine crisis came to reveal the complicity of the United Nations and its bodies, which were disguised under the slogans of humanity, justice and democracy,” the Ministry of Human Rights said. “The double standards revealed by the Russian-Ukrainian war within a few hours and days, when everyone witnessed the mobilization of the international community and the United Nations.”
The Ministry pointed out that Saudi Arabia was removed from the list of violators of children’s rights, and the work of the UN team of experts was suspended after describing the crimes as alleged violations in Yemen.
