The leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, has said that “Al-Sarkha”, as slogan of the Ansarullah movement is called, “represents a voice for the nation and aims to fortify the internal arena of Muslims from penetration, because the US targets all fields comprehensively.”
In his speech on the occasion of the anniversary of Al-Sarkha, Sayyid al-Houthi said “on this day we recall the great position taken by the martyr leader Hussain al-Houthi, during sensitive and dangerous circumstances that our nation has gone through, as the United States of America made the events of September 11 as a pretext for targeting and taking control over nation.”
He stressed that “the enemies sought to enable the Israeli enemy to be the direct agent of America and the West in the region.”
“The US and its allies had a schedule to occupy Arab and Islamic countries and strike other countries, in order to take full control over the nation,”Sayyid al-Houthi said, adding “everything the enemies do force us to take a position towards these dangers and the process of comprehensive targeting.”
He added that “the martyr leader, Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi expressed his orientation in addressing the hostile attack against the nation by rising the Sarkha slogan which represents a voice for the Islamic nation against enemies, and expresses indignation and protest against all conspiracies targeting it.”
Sayyid al-Houthi explained that the slogan came within the framework of a broad tactical and awareness activity, as well as practical steps, including the boycott of American and Israeli goods, stressing that “the Israeli enemy exploited US-Western attacks to completely liquidate the Palestinian cause.”
“Some Arab regimes adopt same Israeli positions that are hostile to Palestinians and the Lebanese resistance, misleading the Islamic nation in media,” he stated.
The Sayyid affirmed that “the Sarkha slogan against America incited the then authorities in Yemen [the government of Ali Abdullah Saleh, backed by the US] to wage the six wars and provided the political cover for the authority to commit the most heinous crimes against the Yemeni people.”
Sayyid al-Houthi stressed that “the enemies’ plans against the project of resistance to American hegemony failed despite the scarce capabilities the people of Yemen have access to.”
“The policy of appeasement is a wrong policy that will not achieve any interest for the Islamic nation,” he added.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi furthermore stressed the importance of making a move against the nation’s enemies, calling for “a sound move that does not offend Islam in the way Al-Qaeda does, because they only serve the US with their crimes.”
