President Al-Mashat inaugurated the YEMEN 4G service through audio and video communication with the governors of Hodeida, Dhamar, and Amran.
He confirmed that the services of this project will be used to follow up the work in the provinces. “We will continue to follow up on the executive offices in the provinces to provide services to citizens, to complete what we started with the Capital Municipality and Dhamar province,” he said.
The president was briefed by the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Misfer Al-Numeir, on this project and the difficulties and challenges facing the telecommunications sector in general and the project in particular as a result of the US blockade and aggression and the destruction of the infrastructure over the past eight years.
It is noteworthy that the project has been planned and started since 2018, and it is one of the components of the Martyr Al-Sammad digital city, which President Al-Mashat laid the foundation stone for last year.
