The Shura Council on Sunday welcomed the Palestinian factions’ signing of the Algeria Declaration of Palestinian Reconciliation.

In a statement issued today, the Shura Council considered reconciliation a step in the right path to strengthen the resistance and unify its ranks in the face of provocations and the continuous escalation of the Zionist enemy entity against the Palestinian people and the Islamic sanctities.

The statement affirmed the importance of initiating the implementation of what was included in the signed declaration under the auspices of the Algerian leadership in order to achieve the aspirations of the Palestinian people in establishing their independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds city as its capital.

The Shura Council called on all Palestinian forces and factions to adhere to the implementation of the provisions of the declaration, especially those related to the presidential and parliamentary elections, which would enhance Palestinian national unity and strengthen the role of the resistance in the face of Zionist arrogance.

In its statement, the Council reiterated the official and popular position of the Republic of Yemen in support of the Palestinian cause as it is the central issue of the nation in the face of Zionist intransigence until the Palestinian people obtain all their legitimate rights.
