The Transitional Council factions carried out a military parade in Radfan districts, north of Aden.
This coincides with the escalation of disputes with the tribes of the region after a soldier was killed in front of his family, and the tribes rejected attempts to dilute the issue.
The Fifth Brigade held a parade in which tanks and armored vehicles participated in its main camp, Radfan.
The parade came on the eve of the southern anti-transitional factions, most notably the so-called “Southern Resistance” affiliated with the movement, hinting at a military escalation, in light of the council’s ignoring of their peaceful demands.
During the past few days, the Radfan tribes carried out protest activities, reaching the city of Al-Houta, the administrative center of Lhajj.
The parade is an attempt to intimidate the tribes who accuse the brigade’s leadership of covering up criminals. A military force affiliated with the brigade executed a conscript in front of his family in Radfan, which sparked popular and tribal anger.
