Dozens of international organizations issued a new statement on the anniversary of the ninth year of war on Yemen.
The statement, signed by about 140 international organizations, demanded a renewal of the armistice in Yemen, calling on the coalition not to use the economic card to harm the Yemenis.
The statement stressed the need to allow the facilitation of the arrival of materials, referring to the opening of ports, including Hodeidah, which is a lifeline for millions of Yemenis in the northern governorates.
It also warned of the repercussions of the continuation of the war and the blockade on the suffering of citizens.
The call comes less than two days before the ninth anniversary of the war led by Saudi Arabia in March of 2016 against Yemen and by a coalition of 17 countries.
