The Southern Transitional Council deployed its military forces in the streets of Aden, in conjunction with the consultative meeting called for by the UAE-backed council.
The transitional forces closed all the main roads leading to the venue of the consultative meeting , and deployed in other streets and carried out thorough searches of cars and vehicles .
The Southern movement factions and the southern forces had refused to participate in the consultative meeting, and said that the transitional government was trying to monopolize the representation of the southern cause.
