Activists on social media platforms posted video footage showing a boxer who they said was an Iraqi punching Silwan Momika, who burned a copy of the Qur’an. The video went viral on social media.
Momika was attacked in the city of Södertälje, south of Stockholm, by a man wearing boxing gloves. The incident was filmed and shared on social media platforms.
In July, Momika, who lives in Sweden, burned a copy of the Qur’an in front of Stockholm’s main mosque.
A few days later, he burned another copy of the Holy Qur’an and the Iraqi flag in front of the Iraqi embassy in Stockholm.
