A rights group condemned on Thursday the brutal crime that targeted civilians in Al-Akhdoua area of Maqbanah district in Taiz.
17 civilians, most of them women and children, were killed and wounded on Thursday by Saudi-mercenaries artillery shelling in Taiz Governorate.
The The Eye of Humanity Center for Rights and Development said in a statement that the forces of aggression are still targeting the homes and villages of citizens with artillery shelling and targeting travelers on public roads on a daily basis.
“These acts are considered war crimes against humanity,” it added.
The center called on the international community and international organizations to assume their humanitarian and moral responsibilities, and to put pressure on the countries involved in aggression to stop their crimes against Yemeni civilians.
