The Saudi authorities issued a decision to demobilize the forces of the “Happy Yemen” Brigade and the special forces composed of Yemeni recruits on the southern border of the Kingdom.

According to informed sources, Saudi forces expelled the soldiers from the camps on September 7th  and terminated their services without prior warning or handing over their financial dues.

They stated that the recruits sold their mobile phones to return to Yemen, and that those demobilized had arrears of salaries of up to 16 months.

Saudi Arabia had demobilized the forces of the Special Tasks Brigade stationed in Al-Wadiah in the same manner.
