The Meteorological Center warned of heavy rains that a number of areas in Yemen will witness in the coming hours.
The center said in a warning on the (X) website that rains of varying intensity are expected on Thursday and Friday, accompanied by thunderstorms, over large parts of the southwestern highlands and the southern coasts, specifically in parts of the governorates of Abyan, Aden, Lahj, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Ibb, Raymah, and the Tihama Plain, and parts of The governorates of Hadhramout and Shabwa, and the governorates and parts of the governorates of Dhamar, Sana’a, Amran, Al Mahwit, Hajjah and Sa’ada.”
It added, “Rain and storms extend eastward to parts of the interior plateaus and northward to the western and northwestern highlands and the western coasts during the afternoon and evening periods.”
