Tens of thousands of Palestinians flocked to the northern Gaza Strip immediately after the truce entered into force on Friday, regardless of the Zionist threats, media reported.
The Hebrew Channel 12 quoted cabinet member “Katz” as saying: “The army (Zionist occupation army) is trying to prevent tens of thousands of Palestinians from returning to the northern Gaza Strip.”
On the other hand, Palestinian sources said that tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians began returning to the northern Gaza Strip in the morning to inspect their homes and flocked to cemeteries and hospitals.
In this context, Al-Mayadeen Channel, quoting its correspondent from Beit Hanoun, said that the Zionist occupation army “threatens to shoot anyone who approaches its forces stationed in the city” as residents flocked to the streets of their destroyed city in order to inspect their property.
