The Yemeni armed forces announced on Sunday that they had carried out a military operation in the Red Sea, which resulted in the seizure of an Israeli ship.
The Yemeni armed forces said in a statement issued this evening that the naval forces carried out a military operation in the Red Sea, which resulted in the seizure of an Israeli ship and taking it to the Yemeni coast.
The statement indicated that this operation comes in implementation of the directives of the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and is based on religious, humanitarian, and moral responsibility towards the oppressed Palestinian people.
The Yemeni armed forces deal with the ship’s crew in accordance with the teachings and values of the Islamic religion, the statement added.
In its statement, the armed forces called on all countries whose nationals work in the Red Sea to refrain from any work or activity with Israeli ships or ships owned by Israelis.
The statement also stressed that “the one who threatens the security and stability of the region and international corridors is the Zionist entity,” calling on the international community, if it is keen on the security and stability of the region and not expanding the conflict, to stop the Israeli aggression against Gaza.
