Sana’a Authority announced its readiness to participate in any new round of negotiations, if it obtained international guarantees to implement what had previously been agreed upon.
The head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs in Sanaa, Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada, said in a blog post on (X): “We have no objection to attending any round of negotiations on the prisoners’ file if we obtain guarantees from the United Nations to implement the previous agreements that were sponsored.”
He added: “As for accumulating agreements without implementation, as is done by the mercenaries, this only complicates the file and increases the suffering of the prisoners on both sides.”
