In a step that is the first of its kind, about 100,000 law officers are working to “prosecute Israel for its crimes in the Gaza Strip.”
The head of the Algerian Bar Association, Ibrahim Tairi, revealed that about 100,000 lawyers have joined the “Algerian bloc to prosecute the Israeli occupation for its crimes in Gaza.”
In the same context, the famous French lawyer Gilles Devers confirmed that “arrest requests have been submitted against the Israeli Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Chief of Staff.”
Tairi explained, in a press conference in Algiers, that “the legal mechanism to bring Israeli officials before international justice was launched by filing reports before the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.”
