A leader in the UAE-backed Transitional Council was killed in confrontations with Sanaa forces in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.
Sources said that the transitional forces attacked positions of the Sana’a forces on the Karsh Front, north of Lahj, which led to the death of the leader of the “Southern Resistance” on the front, the head of the security committee of the Transitional Council in Karsh, Samir Al-Faqih, and 5 of its members, the most prominent of whom are: Khaldoun Mahdi, Atheer Ghaleb, Hamid Ezzi, and Muhammad. The sources pointed out that 9 members of the “Southern Resistance” were injured in the failed attack.
