Parliament decides to summon government to discuss price control, service provision

The House of Representatives discussed in its session on Saturday in Sanaa a number of general issues that concern the lives of citizens.

The session focused on the disparity in the selling prices of domestic gas in some districts of the Capital Secretariat, Sanaa, and the provinces, as well as the increase in the selling prices of domestic water units and sanitation services.

The parliament members urged the concerned authorities to strengthen periodic oversight and control prices in a manner commensurate with the living conditions of citizens and to confront the effects of the repercussions of the aggression and siege, stressing the importance of the presence of the government side to discuss this in a future session.
