The leadership of Hodeidah province and the military committee affiliated with Sanaa government announced on Tuesday the reopening of the Jabal Ras-Hais-Al-Khawkha road as of today.
This comes within the framework of implementing the directives of the Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat.
The authorities in Hodeida began implementing the initiative to reopen the road and remove barriers and dirt in preparation for the passage of transportation in the presence of the governor of the province, Muhammad Ayyash Quhim.
The governor explained that reopening the road proves the seriousness of the local authority, the revolutionary and political leadership, the sincere intention, and the keenness to open the roads, facilitate the passage of citizens, and alleviate their suffering.
Quhim considered the initiative to open roads unilaterally as a practical embodiment of concern for citizens and consideration of the humanitarian situation, calling on the other party to feel responsible by opening the road from the opposite side to prove its credibility and not submit to the dictates of the aggression forces.
