A press conference was held at the oil tank facilities targeted by the Israeli aggression in the port of Hodeidah on the repercussions of this crime, organized by the Ministries of Human Rights and Oil, the local authority in the governorate, and Ain Al-Insaniyah Center for Rights and Development.
The conference, in the presence of representatives of local and foreign media and workers in oil facilities, dealt with the title “Zionist aggression against Yemen… and the continuation of international silence,” and all the crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Yemen and Palestine.
At the conference, the Minister of Human Rights touched on what the people of Hodeida governorate are suffering in light of the extreme heat and the repercussions of the Zionist aggression’s targeting of electricity and oil facilities and the port of Hodeida.
He called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to carry out their legal and humanitarian duty towards the crimes and violations that Yemen and Palestine are exposed to, and to demand that the perpetrators of these crimes be held accountable, and to stop the interventions carried out by America and Britain in the region.
The Governor of Hodeidah stressed that targeting fuel tank facilities will not discourage or intimidate the people of the governorate, but rather will increase their resilience in facing challenges and confronting conspiracies, pointing out that the positions of the Yemeni people towards Palestine are embodied today by the steadfastness of the people of Hodeidah in the face of barbarism and the continuing Israeli, American and British bombing.
The head of the Ain Humanity Development Center, Ahmed Abu Hamra, confirmed that the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy targeting service facilities in Hodeidah, including fuel tanks in the port of Hodeidah, represent an extension of a series of crimes against the Yemeni people since 2015.
He stated that the crime of targeting these facilities in Hodeidah Governorate by the Israeli aggression caused the death of nine martyrs and more than 83 wounded, most of whom are in serious condition, and there are still missing persons being searched for.
