The Lebanese Resistance, Hezbollah, said on Saturday that it launched a squadron of “bomb-laden” drones towards a military base of the Zionist enemy army in northern occupied Palestine.
The resistance said, in a statement, that it attacked with drones an “Israeli” military base southwest of Safed, in support of Gaza and in response to the assassination crime in Sidon, which resulted in the martyrdom of the Hamas security official in the Ain al-Hilweh camp, Samer al-Hajj.
For its part, Israeli enemy media reported that dozens of drones were launched by Hezbollah towards Galilee, Jarmaq, Tiberias, and the occupied Golan.
The Zionist media reported that Iron Dome was activated after sirens sounded in the northern settlements.
The Israeli journalist, Barak Ravid, said, “Sirens sounded continuously in the north for approximately 20 minutes, following the launch of drones from Lebanon.”
A number of drones exploded at the Rosh Pina airstrip near the occupied city of Safed, and fires broke out at the place, according to Hebrew media, which indicated that the “Israeli” Magen David Adom was dealing with five seriously injured people.
