The Second International Conference of the Greatest Messenger, organized by the Charitable Society for Teaching the Holy Quran, will start next Saturday over three days, with wide participation from researchers, academics, scholars and intellectuals locally abroad.
The conference aims to promote the culture of Quranic awareness associated with the divine message and the Greatest Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, in a way that shows the universality and comprehensiveness of the message to the worlds.
The Vice Chairman of the Conference Supervisory Committee, Abdulrahman Al-Afad, explained to Saba Agency that the number of contributions submitted to the conference’s scientific committee was 167, of which 107 internal and external researches were accepted, while 60 contributions were not accepted for not meeting the standards and conditions specified in the conference’s reference framework.
He pointed out that there are external contributions to the conference from various Arab and Islamic countries.
Al-Afad pointed out that what distinguishes the convening of the conference this year is that it comes at the height of the conflict with the Israeli and American enemy and those who revolve in its orbit, and in light of the Yemeni people’s distinction with their great jihadist, faith-based, and humanitarian stance after entering the battle of “the promised conquest and holy jihad” in confronting the forces of evil and criminality, America, Israel, and Britain, in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
