UAE has officially announced the death of one of its officers participating in the war on Yemen.
The UAE Ministry of Defense said in a statement that “First Sergeant Mohammed Atiq Salem bin Salouma Al Khaili, who was critically injured while participating in Operation Decisive Storm in 2015 in Yemen, was in intensive care and died yesterday evening.”
In 2023, Sanaa forces announced that the UAE had suffered more than 1,251 deaths and injuries, including officers with high military ranks, during the 8 years of the Saudi war on Yemen.
