Iranian Foreign Ministry Denies Media Reports On Sending Weapons To Yemen

Iranian Foreign Ministry denied media reports that a military shipment manufactured in Iran was seized and was heading to Yemen, describing them as baseless and false allegations.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, said, according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency, that these allegations are part of a misleading campaign aimed at distorting the image of the Islamic Republic of Iran and stirring up strife, coinciding with the visit of American officials to the region.

Esmail Baghaei stressed: “We have no military presence in Yemen, and the weapons in this country have nothing to do with Iran.”
