Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares called for the return of the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip to their homes, stressing that his country will do its utmost to rebuild the Strip.
This came in a statement to the Turkish Anadolu Agency, on the sidelines of his participation in the Munich Security Conference, during which he addressed the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
Albares said that his country wants the ceasefire in Gaza to be permanent.
He added that “the ceasefire agreement is in everyone’s interest, and the Palestinians must return and live in Gaza.”
He stressed that his country will do everything in its power to rebuild Gaza and return the Palestinians to their normal lives there.
He pointed out that the existence of two states will ensure security and prosperity for both the Palestinians and the Israelis.
