Three children died due to the severe cold in the Gaza Strip, while others were in critical condition, according to the director of the “Friends of the Patient” hospital in Gaza, late Monday evening.
The medical director of the “Friends of the Patient” hospital in Gaza, Dr. Saeed Salah, announced, according to what was reported by the Palestinian Ma’an News Agency, that three children had died due to the severe cold, and there were other serious cases.
He also called for the necessity of bringing in medicines, equipment and aid for hospitals.
He demanded that the relevant authorities provide caravans, camps and fuel to provide warmth for people and protect children, especially with the arrival of a new low pressure system.”
