Two people were killed and 10 others were injured yesterday, Friday, in an Israeli raid on a town in the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement, bringing the total number of victims since the agreement to 66 dead and 263 wounded.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in a statement that “the Israeli enemy’s raid on Janta-Bekaa resulted in the final death toll of two martyrs and the injury of ten people.”

For its part, the Lebanese News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes “raided at three after midnight (Thursday/Friday) the eastern chain in the Bekaa.”

In another context, the agency noted that the Israeli air force launched two raids on the Wadi Khaled area in northern Lebanon, late the day before yesterday evening and early Friday morning.

The first targeted a truck loaded with batteries and scrap in the Al-Wawiyat area, while the second targeted the “Jab Al-Ward” crossing in the outskirts of the town of Hanid in the northern Akkar district, without further details.

The agency indicated that the Israeli army “burned houses in the town of Kfar Kila” in southern Lebanon.
