International Quds Day marches have begun across Iran, with widespread popular participation, under the slogan “On the covenant, O Jerusalem.”
International Quds Day marches are being held in more than 900 cities, with participants heading to Friday prayer squares. In Tehran, the marches are widely attended by people from all walks of life, departing from ten routes toward Tehran University, the designated gathering place for Friday prayers.
Participants thronged the streets, waving Palestinian flags and the flags of the resistance factions, to denounce the ongoing crimes of the Zionist entity over the past 80 years, particularly those committed over the past 16 months, which have resulted in the martyrdom of more than 50,000 men, women, children, and youth.
Protesters chanted “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” denouncing Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people and demanding the liberation of Jerusalem and the prosecution of the leaders of the enemy entity.
A number of prominent political and military officials participated in the marches alongside the crowds on International Quds Day in Tehran.
