His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent cables of congratulations to the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
In the cables, President Al-Mashat expressed his sincere congratulations and blessings to the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on this religious occasion, wishing them good health and their countries further development.
He pointed out that this great religious occasion comes under exceptional circumstances due to the barbaric, brutal Zionist-American aggression that the steadfast Palestinian people were subjected to, which committed the most heinous crimes of killing and starvation for more than a year, and crowned those crimes with a plan to displace the Palestinian people from their land and homeland with the aim of completely liquidating the Palestinian cause.
President Al-Mashat urged the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to take a unified and firm stance to thwart those plans that seek to humiliate the Arab and Islamic nation and control its capabilities, stressing that peace will not be achieved except by achieving justice represented by the establishment of the State of Palestine on all its lands with Jerusalem as its capital and the exit of the usurping Israeli occupation.
He concluded the telegrams with a prayer to God Almighty to unite the word of the Islamic nation with all its peoples to achieve goodness, victory and strength for it.
