Putin, Lukashenko, Rahmon, Aliyev agree to meet in Moscow on May

The presidents of Russia, Belarus, and Tajikistan have agreed during a phone call with the Azerbaijani president to hold a meeting in Moscow on May 9.

A statement issued by the Kremlin on Saturday read: “During a joint informal meeting, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon spoke by phone with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.”

The statement indicated that the call was warm and friendly, during which the leaders discussed many pressing issues related to the development of relations between their countries.

The presidents also agreed to meet on May 9 in Moscow during the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
