Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çeviç said that nine people, including eight children, were killed in a shooting at a middle school in the southeast of the country on Wednesday.
During a press conference in the Kahramanmaraş province where the attack took place, Çeviç added that 13 people were injured, six of them in critical condition, according to Reuters.
Çeviç confirmed that the incident occurred for “personal” motives.
