Khalil Al-Daqran, a spokesman for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, said that Gaza Strip hospitals are unable to deal with serious injuries, stressing that what is happening in the Strip is a true health disaster.
Daqran added, in press statements on Friday, that operating rooms are full of injured patients, indicating that most of the injured arriving at hospitals have amputated limbs.
He pointed out that medical teams are unable to provide treatment due to a lack of medication, noting that brain, nerve, and chest surgeries have been halted.
He emphasized that the enemy is targeting all hospitals in the Strip, as well as ambulances everywhere.
Since March 2, the enemy has closed the Strip’s crossings to the entry of food, relief, medical aid, and goods, causing a significant deterioration in the humanitarian situation.
With American support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 173,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
