The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, stated on Saturday evening that, contrary to the fabricated media war, the formation of a negotiating framework is progressing.
Larijani wrote on his Twitter account, as reported by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “Contrary to the atmosphere of the fabricated media war, the formation of a negotiating framework is progressing,” without elaborating further.
The Iranian official’s statement comes amidst escalating military buildup by the United States off the Iranian coast, accompanied by Washington’s threats to launch an attack against Iran.
Larijani met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Friday and held talks with him.
