The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums announced that a farmer found ancient statues while reclaiming land in Sa’ada Governorate.
The authority explained on its Facebook account that a farmer in the Al-Jatham area in Valley Madhab in Al-Safraa District was reclaiming land for agriculture, and during that he came across antiquities in the ground, including statues, so he informed the security authorities who went to the place accompanied by the Director of Antiquities in Sa’ada.
It indicated that these pieces will be sent to the authority in Sana’a, after taking security measures, demanding that the site be seized.
