The Islamic Resistance Movement ” Hamas”, has warned of Israeli intents to organize mass settler break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque next Monday, calling on Muslim worshipers to march en masse to the Mosque to protect it against desecration and Judaization.
In a statement on Saturday, Senior Hamas official Haroun Nasiruddin said that 13 rabbis incited, in a video released by temple groups, their followers to storm the Aqsa Mosque in large numbers on Monday, May 26, calling the intended settler violation of the Islamic holy site as “part of an ongoing Israeli religious war against Jerusalem.”
“The extremist occupation government’s unlimited support and protection for settlers encourages them to escalate their violations against the Aqsa Mosque, amid Arab and Muslim impotence and indifference towards what is happening to the first Qibla and the third holiest site in Islam,” Nasiruddin added.
The Hamas official stressed that every free Muslim around the world has a religious, historical and moral responsibility towards the Aqsa Mosque and must contribute to its protection with all means.
