Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Yemeni revolution, confirmed on Thursday the continuation of military operations from Yemen in support of Gaza, targeting deep within the occupied territories.
In a speech addressing the latest developments in the aggression against Gaza and the broader regional and international situation, he stated that this week witnessed the launch of 11 ballistic and hypersonic missiles and drones targeting sites in Haifa, Jaffa, and Ashdod, including five missiles targeting Lod Airport in occupied Jaffa.
He noted that the most notable operation was the Tuesday evening attack, which disrupted the Israeli occupation defense system. The missile was intercepted, and smoke plumes erupted near the airport. The operation forced thousands of Zionist settlers to seek shelter, with air raid sirens blaring.
Sayyed Al-Houthi also emphasized the continuation of the naval blockade in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and Bab al-Mandab, indicating that the ban on Israeli shipping is part of the response to the occupation’s escalation and crimes in Gaza.
The Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has been ongoing for 20 months, resulting in the extermination of approximately 9% of the Strip’s population, an unprecedented percentage in modern warfare.
He explained that the United States supports this aggression through starvation and killing via death traps and execution centers, while the Israeli occupation seeks to turn the distribution of humanitarian aid into a means of eliminating Palestinians.
Al-Houthi pointed to the tragic scenes of indiscriminate shooting of those waiting for aid, stressing that the occupation forces the Palestinian people to choose between two options: starving to death or going to so-called aid centers to be killed.
He added that the Zionist side continues its repeated incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, performing their aggressive rituals and expressing their hostility to Islam and Muslims.
He also drew attention to the expansion of settlement activities in Jerusalem with the aim of Judaizing it and attempts to seize control of the Ibrahimi Mosque and convert it into a synagogue.
Speaking about the West Bank, Sayyed al-Houthi explained that the Israeli occupation continues its daily violations, which include killing, kidnapping, demolition, bulldozing, and land confiscation, in addition to the ongoing displacement operations from camps.
He pointed to the decision to establish 22 new settlements in the West Bank, which means the confiscation of vast areas and the end of the “two-state solution” promoted by the United Nations.
Sayyed al-Houthi also emphasized that the occupation has exploited the “two-state solution” as a temporary deception and is working to gain complete control over Palestine and is going beyond that as part of its aggressive plan.
He criticized the Palestinian Authority, pointing to the failure of its political path, which lacks any indication of success, and considering its policies against the resistance unjustified.
Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that resistance is the only effective option, while the alternatives mean surrender and defeat. He stressed the importance of jihad and action to deter the Israeli enemy and thwart its goals.
He praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance fighters in Gaza, who bravely confront the enemy, highlighting the operations of the Al-Qassam Brigades, which included more than 16 qualitative operations against soldiers and vehicles.
He also noted the enemy’s losses this week as a result of precise ambushes and the heroic operations of the Al-Quds Brigades, including the launching of rockets towards Ashkelon, while appreciating the role of other factions in confronting the occupation.
Sayyed al-Houthi said, “The Israeli enemy, in its ground operations against the Gaza Strip, has resorted to enlisting the help of criminal groups of traitors,” stressing that the traitors’ cooperation with the Israeli enemy indicates its failure to achieve its goals.
During his speech, Sayyed al-Houthi addressed the escalation of Israeli attacks on Lebanon, highlighting the significant aggression carried out on Beirut’s southern suburb during Eid al-Adha night.
He pointed out that the continuous and varied crimes committed by the Israeli enemy in Lebanon demonstrate its untrustworthiness, even towards its guarantors, emphasizing that resistance remains an unavoidable option.
He further added that all Lebanese should rally more strongly around the resistance in Lebanon and Hezbollah, as they represent the true safeguard against the Israeli threat.
Sayyed al-Houthi asserted that Arab and Islamic inaction encourages the Israeli enemy to continue its crimes, arguing that most Arab and Islamic regimes do not provide genuine support to the Palestinian people.
He pointed out that this inaction constitutes an abdication of humanitarian and religious responsibility and threatens the security and interests of the nation.
Sayyed al-Houthi criticized the stance of Arab and Islamic regimes compared to some non-Islamic countries that have taken concrete steps, accusing some of colluding with Israel and labeling Palestinian resistance movements as terrorist.
He suggested that the nation, instead of wasting trillions of dollars on America, could provide significant support to the Palestinian people, referring to some Gulf states.
He stressed that the nation’s abandonment of its responsibilities has given way to the forces of evil, making it a victim and losing its role as a force for spreading goodness and confronting injustice globally.
He emphasized that Yemen will maintain its comprehensive official and popular stance at all levels in support of the Palestinian people, stressing the nation’s unwavering commitment to their cause.
Sayyed al-Houthi stated, “We have made sacrifices, but they are fruitful and carry significant results,” adding that over the past 20 months, all outcomes and effects have ultimately benefited the Yemeni people, who continue to strive for progress on both moral and practical levels, including the development of their capabilities and potential.
He called for a million-strong march tomorrow in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana’a and all provinces in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.
