Iranian police: 14 Drones Destroyed, Several Explosives Workshops Uncovered

Over the past 24 hours, Iranian police have destroyed 14 drones, uncovered several explosives and quadcopter manufacturing workshops, and arrested the perpetrators.

Iranian police spokesman Brigadier General Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi said, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA: “Thanks be to God, my colleagues have managed to shoot down and destroy 14 drones across the country over the past 24 hours.”

He added: “In Isfahan, a workshop for producing suicide drones and quadcopters was uncovered.”

The Iranian police spokesman continued: “Several workshops for producing drone equipment and explosive devices were also uncovered in separate operations in Tehran and Alborz Province.”

He added: “Three vehicles carrying drones and explosives were also uncovered in Tehran and Alborz Province.”

Brigadier General Montazer al-Mahdi added: “Following the border cooperation and diplomacy between Iran and Iraq, Iraq, in a preemptive move, was able to uncover and stop three vehicles carrying drones.”
