Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdul Wahid Abu Ras said that the Ministry had followed the meeting held in Riyadh for the so-called Steering Committee for Maritime Security Partnership in Yemen.”
“Al Saud regime remains determined to turn Riyadh into a capital from which hostile activities against Yemen and its people are launched. Instead of seeking to lift the siege, stop restricting Yemeni ports, and end the occupation of Yemeni lands and islands, it continues to gather ‘scum of the earth’ from all corners, foremost among them America and Britain, to escalate its maritime conspiracies and establish entities that falsely claim Yemeni representation,” Abu Ras said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency SABA.
He added, “The Al Saud regime must understand that with these hostile steps and its subservience to American and British directives, among other actions, it is only sinking itself deeper into the swamp of subordination and enmity. This will negatively impact its own ambitions and economic projects, causing it to suffer significant losses as a result ”
The Deputy Foreign Minister pointed out that the objective behind these activities and entities is not to maintain maritime security, but rather to protect the Zionist entity and the interests of America and Britain in the region.
He asserted that their fate will be failure and dissolution, like their predecessors.
Abu Ras concluded his statement by emphasizing that Yemen, with its army and naval forces, is the most concerned party when it comes to maritime security.
