The General Authority for Land Transport Affairs has condemned the criminal acts practiced by the Saudi occupation forces against the people of Al-Mahra Governorate and the closure of Yemeni land ports.

The authority confirmed in a statement issued today that the Saudi occupation forces controlling the land port prevented entry of food commodities and agricultural tools, which is in violation of all customs, charters, international laws and Security Council resolutions, and a flagrant violation of Yemeni sovereignty.

The statement considered the acts of repression and persecution practiced by the Saudi occupier against al-Mahra  people as brutal terrorist acts against a sovereign and independent state.

The statement pointed out the importance of the land port, which provides various humanitarian services and is a commercial and economic outlet between the Republic of Yemen and the sister Sultanate of Oman.

The statement called for al-Mahra tribes, sheikhs, and dignitaries to join  ranks to confront the Saudi occupation, which is trying to impose hegemony over the province and to prevent the passage of goods and movement in the border land ports, including the strategic land  port.

The General Authority for Land Transport Affairs called on the United Nations, the Security Council and human rights organizations to put an end to these violations that are being practiced against the Yemeni people in general and skilled people in particular.
