Top Officials in the capital Sana’a have on Thursday received a delegation of sheikhs and elders from al-Abdiyah district of Marib province.
During the reception, Hammoud Obad, mayor of Capital and Khaled al-Madani, first deputy first praised the position taken by the sheikhs, elders and sons of al-Abdiyah district and their stand with the heroes of the army and popular committees, in the face of Saudi-led aggression
For their part, Al- Abdiyah’s the sheikhs confirmed their support for the army and the popular committees in liberating what remains of Marib Governorate and all the occupied areas.
They pointed out that the coalition aggression deliberately spread misleading rumors to entice citizens for years.
Moreover, they stressed the visit to Sana’a dispelled all the lies spread by aggression over the past years. It reflected the values and principles of brotherhood, cohesion and unity in the face of invaders and occupiers and the continuation of the battle for liberation and national independence.
They called on sheikhs and the elders of Marib and Wadi Obeida, to join the homeland and cooperate with the army and popular committees to expel the forces of aggression and occupation.
Meanwhile , the leaders and sheikhs of Sanhan district in Sana’a province received a large delegation of sheikhs from the Al- Abdiyah district .
