Head of the national negotiating delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam on Tuesday affirmed Sana’a’s firm position on opening Sana’a airport and Hodeidah seaports immediately and to pay the state employees’ salaries and retirees’ pensions.
The remarks came during his meeting with the UN representative in the Omani capital Muscat on Tuesday.
In a tweet on his twitter account, Abdulsalam clarified that there is no seriousness or credibility for any talk about peace in Yemen unless the implementation of these urgent humanitarian files, which are demands for all Yemenis, is started.
Earlier on Sunday, he affirmed that paying salaries, ending siege and establishing ceasefire are the necessary steps for a stability that can be felt by Yemeni people.
