A military commander in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias hijacked a bus belonging to the Unity Cement Company in Abyan province, south of Yemen.
Local news quoted an official at the Unity Cement Company, Bates, in Abyan, that the son of the commander of the security belt operations in the STC made a phone call to the company’s management threatening that if the company wouldn’t help him to travel to Cairo for treatment, he would kidnap the chief engineer of the factory in the company, Engineer Mohammed Abdel Moneim.
The official called on the leadership of the STC militia in Abyan to take the necessary measures to prevent and repeat such behaviors
