Yemen’s national wrestling team player, Ibrahim Al-Shabami, withdrew on Sunday from the Grand Prix tournament, which is currently being held in France.
The withdrawal of the representative of Yemen in freestyle wrestling, weight of 61 kg, came after the lottery placed him against the Zionist entity player, Daniel Popov, after he secured a victory against the French player, Armand Traoré.
In a statement about Al-Shabami’s withdrawal, hs coach, Mohammed Al-Sahbani, expressed his sadness at what happened.
