UN: We Stand Firm Against Any Change to Gaza’s Borders

The spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Stéphane Dujarric, stated that “the Israeli Chief of Staff’s claim that the ‘yellow line’ constitutes Gaza’s new border contradicts the Trump Peace Plan.”

He added in a press statement today, Tuesday, that “we stand firmly against any change to Gaza’s borders,” according to Quds Press.

Dujarric also noted that Israeli authorities “have refused to allow the entry of nearly 4,000 mobile shelter units.”

Earlier, the Government Media Office reported 738 violations of the Gaza ceasefire since it was declared 60 days ago.

He explained that these systematic violations resulted in the deaths of 386 Palestinians, injuries to 980 others, and 43 cases of illegal detention carried out by Israeli occupation forces.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces—with U.S. and European support—have committed acts of genocide in Gaza, including killing, starving, destroying, displacing, and arresting residents, ignoring international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt these actions.

The genocide has left over 241,000 Palestinians dead or injured, most of them children and women, with more than 11,000 missing, hundreds of thousands displaced, widespread famine claiming many lives—mostly children—and massive destruction that has erased most of Gaza’s cities and areas from the map.
