21 Killed in Train Collision in Spain

Twenty-one people were killed and 25 others injured in a train collision after one of the trains, a high-speed train, derailed in Spain.

Spanish state media reported that the accident occurred Sunday evening.

Earlier, Adif, the company that operates the country’s railway infrastructure, announced that the accident occurred after a train on the Malaga-Madrid line derailed and slid onto an adjacent track.

The accident caused the suspension of high-speed train services in some areas before they were later resumed.
