Zionist enemy army launched airstrikes on areas in southern Lebanon on Thursday evening, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on November 27.

The enemy’s aircraft raided the vicinity of the town of Zebqin in the Tyre district in southern Lebanon.

It also launched two raids on an area between the towns of Deir Siryan and Yahmar al-Shaqif in the Nabatieh district.

The enemy army claimed that the air force launched raids on military sites belonging to Hezbollah, claiming that the sites contain combat equipment and launch pads that pose a threat to the Israeli home front.

On the other hand, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said that the American side informed him that the occupation forces will withdraw on February 18 from the villages they occupy in southern Lebanon, but will remain in 5 border points inside Lebanon.

Berri pointed out that the Lebanese state is responsible for the continuation of the occupation, and that the army is fully performing its duty in the area south of the Litani, while in the north of the Litani, he stressed that the matter is up to the Lebanese and a dialogue table to discuss the issue of the defense strategy.
