In a post on X on Saturday, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), it said: “In Lebanon, a very large number of children have been killed, while many others are returning to homes that have been reduced to rubble, searching among the debris for their toys.”
It stressed that the ceasefire must hold and that children must be protected.
The ceasefire agreement in Lebanon had come into effect at midnight Thursday-Friday, as a ten-day truce.
Since March 2, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, and cities, intensifying its airstrikes, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately one and a half million Lebanese citizens, concurrently with the aggression launched by the United States and the Zionist entity on Iran.
